Escape from the Tundra

I am so blessed to have a wonderful friend with a mother who winters in Florida.  This wonderful friend - her name is Rita - invites me to go with her every spring around St. Patty's day, to visit her mother.  We were especially looking forward to the trip this year due to the horrendous winter we have endured.  Wednesday morning, our area got another six inches of snow! REALLY??  Our first three days here in Florida were lovely and sunny, the next day there was rain in the morning, but the sun came out later, and yesterday it was sunny but a bit cool at 62 degrees - so these Michigan girls are NOT complaining.  We've had pool time, and shopping time.  What more could we ask for??
